Southeast Weston (10 Oct 1918)
Mrs. J. Ripke and daughters, Helen and Leona, returned Tuesday after a short
visit with relatives and friends in Hillsboro, their former home.
Mrs. William S. Slater and daughter, Dagnmer, who have been guests at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Steinhaus, left for their new home in River Falls
Tuesday.
Miss Bernice Irvine attended teachers’ meeting in Neillsville Saturday.
Miss Carie Turville acted as substitute teacher recently at the County Farm in
connection with her teachers’ training course in Neillsville High School.
Henry Kroll, who has been on the sick list, is recovering.
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Wilke have moved onto the place formerly owned by F.E. Barr.
We welcome them to our community.
Water E. Steinhaus judged at the Loyal Fair recently.
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Percy Northup last Friday, Oct. 4.
Mrs. Frank Zickert has returned from Watertown. While there she attended the
golden anniversary of her parents.
