North York (10 Oct 1918)
There was quite a crowd over at Hannah’s mound Sunday. Among them were Emma
Burdell, Ida Heller, Florence Gerhardt, Alvina Snovick, Minnie Buddinger, Thelma
Begley, Vivian Buettner, Gerda Teller, Elsie, Kenneth and Leon Metcalf, Della,
Ernest and Raymond McKimm, Mat Schaefer, Fred Brookholtz, Dave Barrett, and they
all had a fine time.
Joe McKimm brought his young stock from Greenwood Thursday.
Elsie and Fern Metcalf visited school Tuesday afternoon.
Earl Holt helped his brother, Will, dig potatoes Saturday.
Elsie Metcalf entertained Gerda Teller, Florence Gerhardt and Vivian Buettner
for dinner Sunday.
Mary Wendt called on Irena and Sadie Metcalf Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. Otto Grosnick is visiting her mother in Spring Valley.
Mary Wendt was on the sick list Sunday.
Otto Grosnick and Sant Cole were out car riding Sunday.
Thelma Begley entertained Emma Bardell, Ida Heller and Minnie Buddinger for
dinner Sunday.
Mrs. Parker Metcalf and daughters, Elsie and Fern, were city callers Thursday.
Alvin Wendt and Donald Herrian called on the former’s parents from Friday night
until Sunday.
