Spring commencement exercises for more than 550 Centennial Year graduates of
Whitewater State University were held on Sunday, May 26, 1968 at 2:30 p.m. at
Hamilton Field.
Kenneth Haagensen, executive vice president of the Wisconsin Chamber of
Commerce, spoke on the topic, :Where Do We Go From Here?"
Among the graduates was Ronald Eugene Decker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester L.
Decker, rural Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), who was awarded a bachelor of education
degree in elementary education.
He is also the grandson of Mrs. Hollis Decker, Thorp.
