Mr. and Mrs. Frank Knusta of Lublin and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Welsh of Marshfield
motored to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Continuing on their trip, they
visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Knusta in Washington, D.C., on to Niagara Falls
in New York, then through Canada, stopping to view the Soo Locks, and then
traveling over the Mackinac Bridge before returned to their respective home on
Friday, June 14.
Mr. Mike Lencz and Mrs. Steve Lencz attended the wedding of Frank Burzynski Jr.
to Miss Mary Ann Suppler at Boyd last Saturday.
Visiting with Steve Konival family are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Konival and daughter
of Chicago.
Several area residents attended the farewell party last Saturday evening for Mr.
and Mrs. Bill Swiniarski at their tavern. The Swiniarski's will rent the farm
home of Mr. And Mrs. Don Pentomine, who will be the new proprietors of the
Swiniarski tavern, beginning July 1st.
The Mike Rosiejka and Paul Liebiecki families are grandparents of a son born to
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Rosiejka at Waukesha, Wis., on May 31st, 1968. The infant
will be christened the first part of July at Lublin. The family is anticipating
the arrival of their son, David Rosiejka, who will be sponsor of the new
grandchild. David is stationed in Vietnam.
Miss Barbara Sebunia has completed her beautician's training at Milwaukee and is
spending some time with her parents before looking for employment.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Faizel and daughter and son-in-law of Milwaukee were recent
visitors of the Alex Sebunia family.
Mr. Alex Szalewa was a patient at the Marshfield hospital, but is recuperating
at his home at present.
Mr. Mike Buk and Mr. John Luzinski had the misfortune of falling from a scaffold
this past week in the Loyal area, when they were working on a barn. Mr. Buk's
ankle was broken. The condition of Mr. Luzinski is not known.
