Marden, James E. (5 DEC 1882 – 30 AUG 1959)
James E. Marden, 76, Woodland (Wash.), died Aug. 30, 1959 in a Vancouver
hospital. Born Dec. 5, 1882 in Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), he had lived in
Woodland since 1925. He owned and operated the Marden Garage until 1951, when he
retired. He is survived by his widow, Angie, at home; two brothers, S.A. Marden
of Bellevue, and William Marden of Greenwood, Wis.; and several nieces and
nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the First
Presbyterian Church, Woodland, The Rev. Lee Andrews officiating. Graveside
services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Spicklin Cemetery, Centralia, Wash.
Vault interment will follow. The Woodland Funeral Home is in charge.
