Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Hagen and son Troy, and Mr. and Mrs. Jon Karnitz and son,
Chad, of Wisconsin Rapids were Thanksgiving guests at the Carl Rothenburger
home. To make the day complete, the Rothenburgers son, Bob, and his family,
phoned greetings from Madison. Mr. and Mrs. Karnitz also visited with his
mother, Mrs. Dorothy Karnitz, who is confined to Memorial Hospital following a
massive heart attack.
Joe Wilson of Chicago, Il., spent some time during the deer hunting season with
his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kuechenmeister.
Mr and Mrs. Keith Counsell and family, who arrived Wednesday to spend the
Thanksgiving holiday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Scholtz, returned home to
Fraser, Mi. Sunday morning. Charles Scholtz of Germantown spent the opening
weekend of deer hunting season at the Scholtz home.
Thanksgiving Day guests of Mrs. Arthur Imig were her daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Seif and family of Wisconsin Rapids, and her sister and
brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Markwardt.
Mr. and Mrs. Alden Peot of Milwaukee visited Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rothenburger.
Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Ott and boys were Thanksgiving Day guests of her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kippenham of Greenwood.
Mr. and Mrs. August Beyer were Thanksgiving Day guests of their son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Beyer, and family, in Wisconsin Rapids.
Mrs. Otto Tramm, who had been visiting her sister, Marie Keller, has gone to
Wisconsin Rapids, where she is visiting her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. Elmer Beyer and family before returning to Rockford, Il.
Miss Beverly Kipp and friend, Lynn Mack, returned to Milwaukee Sunday after a
visit with her grandmother, Marie Keller.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Simenson were their children; Joy Simonson
of Minnesota, Joe Simenson of Neillsville, Tom Potter of Kenosha and Dan Potter
of Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Ron Yankee and children, Mark, Lori, and Tanya, spent Thanksgiving
weekend at the home of Mrs. Mary Yankee. They also visited at the George and
Dean Bryan homes and with relatives in Marshfield.
