Fisher, Kathleen Mary (27 JUL 1968)
Miss Kathleen Mary Fisher, daughter of Mrs. Clarence Fisher, Thorp (Clark Co.,
Wis.), and Eugene Lloyd Hatfield, son of Mr. Lloyd Hatfield, Holcombe, were
married at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thorp, Saturday, July 27, 1968, at
11 a.m.
A brother of the bride, William Fisher, gave her in marriage. The pastor, the
Rev. Francis J. Brockman, heard the marriage vows and Miss Natalie Ciolkosz was
organist and Mrs. Viva Fleming, soloist.
Miss Fisher wore a floor length ottoman gown with train and a long veil held to
a bow headpiece. She carried an arrangement of white roses.
Bridal aides included Miss Pat Black, Richfield, Minn., maid of honor; Miss
Donna Crist, also of Richfield, and Misses Mary Beth, Susan and Lauri Fisher,
all of Thorp, bridesmaids. They carried white gladioli as they were seen in
their dresses of chartreuse floor length cotton ottoman.
Donald Samplowski, Baraboo, served as best man to the groom, and Daryl Braatz,
Eau Claire, and Gene Kallsen of St. Paul, Minn. were groomsmen. Allen Guthman,
Cornell, and David Rubisch, Thorp, did ushering duties.
Following the church ceremony, a dinner was served and the reception that
afternoon took place at the parental Fisher home.
Mrs. Hatfield attended Thorp High School and her husband, Holcombe High and the
University of Minnesota.
After a honeymoon to Hawaii, Alaska, and Seattle, Wash., they will make their
home in Thorp at 303 S. Church St.
