Sorry we left Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dahnert out last week as Thanksgiving guests
of Mr. and Mrs. John Reinart.
Mr. and Mrs. John Reinart and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dahnert and Mr. and
Mrs. Dale Reinart attended the wedding and reception of Ardell Sythe and Rosann
Kleist both of Eau Claire at the Epiphany Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, Saturday.
The groom is the son of Don Sythe and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dahnert.
Bruce Bell and granddaughter, Kim Tainter Janesville, spent Monday and Tuesday
with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short. They called on his cousin,
Mrs. Wanda Pretsch Tuesday and also called on Mrs. Frank Short, Mr. and Mrs.
Jess Wilding, Horace Rodman, Swede Mortenson and Mrs. Newt Toptine at Memorial
Home Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kapfer attended the Senior Citizens potluck supper and
meeting in Neillsville Tuesday night.
Brenda Urban was a Friday supper guest of her grandmother, Mrs. Irving Stevens,
and attended the Neillsville-Thorp basketball game. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Urban
spent the evening with Mrs. Stevens.
Mrs. Harold Elmendorf and Carrie Sexton spent Thursday evening with her
brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ehlert and other relatives helped
another sister, Mrs. Frank Herrman celebrate her birthday at the Ehlert home.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Havlicek, Sr., were Tuesday callers at the Mrs. Art Odell
home.
Mr. and Mrs. James Kapfer, West Bend, spent Monday night with her brother-in-law
and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams and on Tuesday helped her mother, Mrs.
William Poler celebrate her birthday at Memorial Home.
Mrs. Oliver Williams and Wedell have been entertaining the flu.
Bible study will be held at the Francis Jacobson home in Sherwood Thursday
evening December 6.
Mrs. Walter Bell, Janesville, sister of Ralph Short has been a patient at Mercy
Hospital, Janesville the past two weeks following a heart attack. Latest reports
she was gaining slowly.
