Carol Marjorie Pietrzak, daughter of Mrs. Frances Pietrzak of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Don William Balslew Jr. of Elmhurst, Ill., on Saturday, July 20th, 1968 at St. Hedwig's Chapel, Thorp. Rev. Bill Matzek performed the eleven a.m. double ring ceremony..

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, James Pietrzak.

Maid of honor was Miss Joyce Cieslek, cousin of the bride, and Mrs. Mary Denning was her sister's bridesmaid.

Les Heerdt, friend of the groom, was best man, with Ken Balslew, brother of the groom, as groomsman. Ushers were Frank Pietrzak, brother of the bride, and John Steiner, brother-in-law of the groom.
