Leonhardt, Jerry M. (22 FEB 1975 - 18 JUL 2015)

Jerry M. Leonard, 40, Medford, died on Saturday, July 18, at his residence surrounded by his loving family and friends and under the care of Hope Hospice.

Funeral services are on Thursday, July 23, at 11 am, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford, with Father Phil Juza officiating. Visitation was held on July 22 with a prayer service at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, and again prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Erik Engel, Dale Neubauer, Paul Hanson, Butch Carstensen, Jack Kadlecek and Jake Emmerich.

Jerry Leonhardt was born February 22, 1975, in Medford, to Gary L. and Lucey J. (Slachetka) Leonardt. He graduated from Medford Area Senior High School. His marriage to Jennifer “Jenn” L. Noland took place on April 23, 1994, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Jerry started at Dave’s Showcase Furniture and Flooring in Medford and worked there until May 2015. He enjoyed motorcross, hunting, fishing, diving his 1969 Superbee, and camping. He loved being around family and friends, especially watching his children in their activities. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife and parents, who all reside in Medford, survivors include five children, Wayatt (Naomi Hartl), Walker (Paige Hartl), Weston, Warryck and Zayleah Leonhardt, all of Medford; a borther, Waylon (Angela) of la Crosse; his maternal grandparents, Stanley and Dorothy Slachetka of Medford; his father and mother-in-law, Lee and Nancy Noland of Medford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to Jerry’s Wish at Nicolet Bank, 134 S. 8th St., Medford, Wisconsin, 54451.
