Wolfe, Arthur (22 APR 1907 – 21 JAN 1970)
Funeral services were held for Arthur Wolfe, 62, 505 W. Park, Spencer, at 11:00
a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Roycraft
Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Burial followed at the Lutheran
Cemetery, with the Rev. Wm. Humlie officiating.
Mr. Wolfe passed away on Jan. 21, 1970, while at work at the Pathfinder plant in
Spencer.
He was born on April 22, 1907 in the Town of Beaver (Clark Co., Wis.), where he
lived with his parents on a farm, then moved to Milwaukee, and returned to Loyal
and farmed. He was married on June 11, 1930 to Eva Gretzner. He and his wife
moved to Spencer in 1959, where they resided for the past 11 years. He was
employed by Pathfinder there for the last 9 years.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife and three children, Mrs. Bob (Darlene) Langfeldt,
Loyal, Dale, Marshfield, and Mrs. David (Marilyn) Ruona, Madison. Surviving
brothers and sisters are Mrs. John (Verna) Fina, Milwaukee, Mrs. Margaret
Foelsch, Spencer, Mrs. Fred (Agnes) Paddon, Milwaukee, Paul, Milwaukee, and
Milton, Loyal. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
