Rakovec, Delores Jane (7 FEB 1970)
Miss Delores Jane Rakovec, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rakovec, route 3, Loyal
(Clark Co., Wis.), and Arnold Wolf, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wolf, Loyal,
exchanged marriage vows on Saturday, Feb. 7, 1970, at the United Methodist
Church in Loyal. The Rev. Conrad Mickeslon, pastor, officiated at the 1 p.m.
service.
Miss Rakovec was given in marriage by her father and wore a gown of hand-clipped
lace in Empire style, with Redingote effect over Peau, which swept the chapel
train. Her headpiece of orange petal and pearls held an illusion veil of
elbow-length and one purple orchid surrounded by white roses and ivy made up her
bouquet.
The maid of honor was Miss Karen Rakovec, Stevens Point, and bridesmaids were
Miss Jean Schuette, Curtiss, and Mrs. Raymond Wehe, Loyal. They wore red satin
floor-length dresses with white lace and red velvet bows, and each carried a
nosegay with a white satin streamer.
The groom's attendants were Larry Wolf, Loyal, best man, , James Young, Loyal,
and Raymond Wehe, Loyal.
Mr. Dennis wolf, Loyal, and Mr. Randy Wolf, Loyal, ushered the guests to their
seats.
Mrs. Ray Feldt was soloist for the nuptial and Mrs. Merlin Gardner was organist.
Refreshments were served in the church parlors after the ceremony and dinner was
served at 2 p.m. to 170 guests in the church dining room. An afternoon reception
and dance took place at the Municipal Hall in Spencer.
Mr. and Mrs. Wolf are both graduates of Loyal High School. The bride graduated
in 1966 and the groom in 1965. Mrs. Wolf also graduate from Jefferson School of
Commercial Art in La Crosse in 1969, and is presently employed by Land O'Lakes
in Spencer.
Her husband farms on this farm on route 2, Spencer, where they will make their
home.
