Miss Mary Ann Carlson of Kaukauna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Carolson,
route 1, Abbotsford, and Robert C. Blakeman of Kansasville, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Gordon Blakeman of New Berlin, were united in marriage Saturday morning, June
15, 1968 at 9:30 at Medford.
Attendants at the wedding were the bride's sister, Miss Mae Carlson, and her
fiancé, Jack Nelson.
For her marriage the bride made her own dress, a street length gown fashioned of
crepe with rosepoint lace trim. Pink roses and lily of the valley were combined
in the bride's corsage.
A street length dress of yllow serrano trimmed with olive green daisies and
velvet streamers was chosen for the maid of honor.
Dinner at noon was served for the family and the new Mr. and Mrs. Blakeman
received the congratulations and best wishes of relatives and close friends at
an afternoon reception.
The new matron is a graduate of the Abbotsford High School and Stout State
University, Menomonie, and taught home economics at Kaukauna. She has accepted a
position at the Burlington High School this fall. Her husband, a graduate of the
Burlington High School, is employed by American Motors, Kenosha.
After they return from a wedding trip to Idaho and the northwestern states
during the month of July, they will leive at Eagle Lake, route 1, Kansasville,
Wis.
Guests attending the wedding came from Colby, Dorchester, Medford, Milwaukee,
Cable, Shawano, Glenwood City, Mukwonago, Minneapolis and Florida.
