Gerald A. Kleinschmidt, 56, of Neillsville, WI, died on Saturday, July 25, 2015
at his home.
Gerald Alan Kleinschmidt was born on September 17, 1958 in Neillsville, WI the
son of Silas and Evelyn (Barber) Kleinschmidt. He graduated from Marshfield
Senior High in 1976 and enlisted into the United States Army. He served for 2
years. Jerry came back to the Chili area and helped on the family farm while he
also worked at Weinbrenner's in Marshfield. Eventually he moved to Neillsville
and worked for Barr Animal Foods and then for Brorson Construction and Struensee
Concrete. Jerry was a fan of Harley Davidson's and loved riding. He also enjoyed
fishing and socializing with his many friends. He was known as a Jack of all
trades and knew how to get things done. On March 6, 2009 he was united in
marriage to Annette S. Vanderhoof in Neillsville.
He is survived by his wife, Annette, a daughter, Angel (Roy Armstrong) Hiserman,
a son, Greg (Jennifer Hart) Vanderhoof all of Neillsville, five grandchildren;
Hailie, Rylie, Mordachi, Sebastian and Carmine. Jerry is also survived by
siblings; Eddy (Joann) Kleinschmidt of Park Falls, WI, Ronnie (Tina Gerhke)
Kleinschmidt of Neillsville and Joan (Gordy) Bores of Marshfield and many nieces
and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.
A Visitation will be held for Jerry from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July
30, 2015 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. There will be no formal
funeral service.
