Schupmehl, Ida (13 MAY 1892 – 17 JUL 1968)
Mrs. Ida Schupmehl, 76, died Wednesday, July 17, 1968 at 12:30 a.m. at the
Marshfield Convalescent Home in Marshfield, where she had lived for about a
year.
Funeral services are set for Friday, July 19, at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran
Church in Abbotsford.
The Rev. F.H. Sprengler will officiate and the body will lay in state at the
Polnaszek Funeral Home in Abbotsford from noon on Thursday until noon on Friday,
when the body will be taken to the church. Interment will be made in the town of
Holton Cemetery.
The former Ida Leu was born May 13, 1892 in the town of Holton. She received her
education in Holton schools.
She married Frank Schupmehl at Milwaukee.
While living in Milwaukee she was employed as a cook at Downers College and at
several different hospitals there.
Mrs. Schupmehl was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one brother, Albert Leu of Abbotsford, and one sister, Mrs.
Anna Heida, who is residing at the Marshfield Convalescent Home..
Her husband, three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
