Lyle Underwood, RMSA, departed from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., on July 5,
1968 for Guam, where he has been assigned duty following graduation from the
Navy radio communications course at Bainbridge, Md. He attended school there
since March, and following completion of the course, spent two weeks leave at
home with his mother, Mrs. Mae Underwood, at Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.). Lyle,
a 1967 graduate of the Colby High School, entered the Navy in October, 1967, and
received his basic training at Great Lakes, Ill. He also attended radio school
there. His brother, LeRoy, is also stationed at Guam, and is also working in the
electronics field.
