Greenwood (20 December 1973)

Mrs. Don Warner left Sunday to spend a few weeks at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Lt. Col. and Mrs. Tom Larson and family.

A triple birthday celebration was held Sunday with a dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kuester. The occasion was the third birthday of their son, Billy, and the birthday of her father, Claude Catlin, and Leslie Lewis. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Claude Catlin of loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Lewis of Chili; and Mrs. William Kuester and daughter, Loretta.

The “Cooky Swap Club” had their annual meeting at the home of Mrs. Dale Jollivette Tuesday.

Arleigh Syth, Simon Wehrman and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. George Syth in Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Looker of Owen and Mrs. Veda Mertens of Stanley, went to Wausau Sunday, where they visited their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Matzke.

Clifford Roettger arrived Wednesday from Centuria to spend a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Neal Tytor.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart were dinner guests Tuesday at the Cecil Looker home in Owen.

The 52nd birthday of Floyd Coleman was observed December 13 at the Clark County Home for the Aged, where he resides.
