Freimund, Lawrence (1925 – 15 JUL 1968)
Lawrence Freimund, 43, Brentwood, died unexpectedly Monday, July 15, 1968, at
St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield, where he was a patient almost three weeks.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Lake Funeral Home at Phillips and
interment was made in the family plot in the town of Holton Cemetery.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Freimund, formerly of the town of Holton
(Marathon Co., Wis.), and has lived in the Brentwood area for about 35 years.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Catherine Freimund, with whom he lived, and
five sisters and three brothers. His father preceded him in death June 5, 1942.
All of the brothers and sisters were here for the funeral, except one brother,
who returned to California July 15, after visiting here. They came from
Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Oregon, California and Minnesota.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Mootz, Delmar Vesely and Darrell Freimund of Milan attended the
services at Phillips. Mr. Freimund was an uncle of Mrs. Mootz and Mrs. Vesely,
and a cousin of Darrell Freimund.
After the committal service, the relatives gathered at the home of the second
oldest Sister, Mrs. Frank Nowaczyk, at Wausau.
