Columbia (20 December 1973)
Ella Lockman, a former Columbia resident, suffered a fracture of a hip gone in a
fall in her room at Memorial Home Recently. She underwent surgery last week
Wednesday at the hospital. The bone was reset and reports are that she is
resting comfortably and making a good recovery.
Mr. and Mrs. Ole Aspen of Neillsville visited William and Georgeana Schulz
Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Peterson and son Roger, spent the weekend in Columbia. Tara
and Tricia Peterson, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Peterson of Neillsville,
were guests Friday night and Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kolbrak of Altoona, who spent the weekend here, visited
Mr. and Mrs. William Sollberger Saturday afternoon. Harvey Sherman visited the
Sollbergers Sunday forenoon.
Michael Werderitch of West Allis spent the weekend in his home here.
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kolbrak were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Endel Saturday
evening.
