Mr. and Mrs. Ray Redmann and Dean and Dawn of Janesville spent from Sunday
evening to Friday a.m. at their parental homes here, with the W.H. Runzheimer
family, Colby, and Mrs. Ida Redmann and family at route 1, Edgar.
Miss Sally Franz and Mrs. Keith Beechel, who attended the funeral of their
father, Albert Franz, returned to their home at Seattle, Wash.
Saturday evening, July 27, Allen Dins gave a dinner party at Charolais Supper
Club in honor of his birthday, which was Tuesday, July 30. A decorated birthday
cake, a gift of the host, centered the table for the occasion. Guests were Mrs.
Albert Dins, Paul Dins, Mrs. Michael Wiese, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Seefluth, Mr.
and Mrs. Larry Gerke, Morris Wicker, of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Parks, Mr.
and Mrs. Donald Gaulke and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Guensberg of Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Emory Rahm and Susan went to visit their daughter, Linda, who is in
the hospital at Minneapolis, on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Tesmer, Jim and Lori, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Mike Bullock and family at Verona. Jim and Lori remained at the Bullock
home for a longer visit. Jim also visited last week with the Harv Olund family
at Platteville.
Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sterzinger were Mr. and Mrs. Jim
Battie and family of Wis. Rapids, and his mother, Mrs. Annie Battie of
Milwaukee.
