Dassow, Rozella "Rose" A. Rizzi (Dutzle) (29 MAR 1925 - 16 FEB 2007)

Rozella "Rose" A. Dassow, 81, town of Greenwood, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until service time Monday.

Rozella was born March 29, 1925, in Jump River. She married Peter Rizzi on Sept. 2, 1950, who preceded her in death in 1978. On March 17, 1979, Rozella married Hilbert H. Dassow Sr. He died Feb. 27, 2003.

She is survived by three brothers, Daniel (Betty) Dutzle of Montello, Roger (friend Pat Knutson) Dutzle of Mauston and Lauren (Joan) Dutzle of Mayville; four sisters, Adeline Cannon of Mayville, Cora Wahl of Fort Atkinson, Lorna Torchia of Waterford, N.Y., and Betty Frane of Mayville; step-daughters Barbara (Allan) Niemi of Hayward and Lynn (Paul) Emmerich of Medford; stepsons Richard (Vicki) Hilbert Jr., Bruce (Jill) and Mike all of Medford; eight step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, is assisting the family.
