Chili (20 December 1973)
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Lang of rural Marshfield entertained Sunday with a supper
in honor of the upcoming third birthday of their daughter, Rachael, and of the
wedding anniversary of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Doehr. Guests, in addition
to the Doehrs, their son, Daryl, and grandson, Troy Metko, included Mr. and Mrs.
Norman Kommer of Spencer, mrs. Gerald Dankemyer and Lori of Neillsville, Mrs.
Mabel Doehr of Marshfield, and Mrs. Laura Beil and Arwin, Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Montag, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Menger and Mr and Mrs. Rueben Wundrow.
The UCGO group is to carol in Chili December 22 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Afterwards, a party will be held at Immanuel United Methodist Church. The group
will gather December 27 at the Phil Shilling home for the regular December
meeting.
Fremont homemakers met Thursday for a Christmas dinner party at the home of Mrs.
Curtis Cochran on Pleasant Ridge. All members were present; secret pal gifts
were exchanged.
Mrs. Lyle Doehr accompanied her daughter, mrs. Russell Lang of rural Marshfield,
to a guild Christmas party at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer last Wednesday
afternoon.
Forestside Homemakers are to meet December 28 at the home of Mrs. George La
Grander for a Christmas Party.
