Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wavrunek of Neillsville visited Mrs. Georgia Collins Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bud Kile of Owen and Mrs. Kile’s sister and her husband, Mr. and
Mrs. George Alick of St. Paul, were dinner guests at the John Kile home Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Bizjak called there in the afternoon.
The Missionary Baptist Church of Greenwood dedicated their new church building
Sunday afternoon. Several from this area were present. The Rev. and Mrs. Le Roy
Gross of Greenwood, and Rev. Robert Dow of Madison, were dinner guests at the
Rev. Palmer home Monday.
Mrs. Oliver La Flex entertained the Birthday Club Thursday.
Mrs. Tillie Buker of Willard called on Mrs. Jack Conklin Friday. Sunday Mrs.
Buker and Mrs. Conklin called on Mrs. Quade and Mrs. Hugo Kuehl at Morgan Plaza
in Thorp.
Tom Daines spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Chester Daines.
Mis Thelma Palmer, who has been teaching in Florida, came home Thursday for the
Christmas Holidays. She came by way of Minneapolis. The Rev. and Mrs. Harold
Palmer met her there and all were supper guests of Mrs. Sydney Palmer in St.
Paul.
Mr and Mrs. Arthur Morrison returned home Thursday after spending the last month
in Houston, Tx., at the McPherson home. Mrs. McPherson will be remembered as
Ardith Morrison. The two McPherson children, Sandra and Craig, came with them to
spend a few days of their vacation with their grandparents.
Mrs. Pirl Burrington, accompanied by Mrs. Dewayne Parent of Humbird, spent
Saturday visiting at the Ralph McIntyre and Reuben Burrington homes in Elk Mound
and Albertville.
