Washburn (27 December 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kapfer attended the senior citizens’ Christmas supper and party in Neillsville Tuesday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams spent last week Saturday night and Sunday with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Vandeberg, at their cottage near Hatfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rutherford of Black River Falls called on Mrs. Art Odell last week Satruday.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Melvin visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brekke, in Eau Claire last weekend. Mr. Brekke has been a surgical patient at Luther Hospital the past month and hoped to get home for Christmas.

Mrs. Art Odell was a dinner guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lincoln.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams and sons, Wendell and Marvin, and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Williams and family of Williams Bay, planned to spend Christmas Eve with Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Vandeberg at Hatfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kapfer visited in Marshfield Thursday.
