Alfred Justman was admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital Sunday, July 21. He is
undergoing tests.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Fischer and family left Wednesday for Eau Claire, where their
daughter Linda entered Sacred Heart Hospital. She had ear surgery on Friday and
expects to be in the hospital five or six days.
Roy Justman entered St. Joseph's Hospital on Wednesday evening for tests and
x-rays.
Miss Janice Brenner is a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Meacham left Thursday morning on a trip through some of the
southwestern states. The expect to be gone about 10 days.
Mr. and Mrs. Duane Meacham and family and Mr. and Mrs. Erland Schweke and family
helped Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Meacham celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary
Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Schulz of Pennsylvania and Mrs. Pearl Schulz of Rock Island,
Ill. arrived Thursday, and on Friday they were accompanied by Mrs. Matilda
Burnett and returned to Rock Island, where Mrs. Burnett will visit for a couple
of weeks.
Mrs. Carl Johnson returned to Milwaukee on Sunday after visiting her brother,
Edwin Slenn, and other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Lodi Lemanski and family of Milwaukee visited several days last
week at the Don Korntved home.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Korntved attended the funeral of their nephew, Gen Wilke, at
Schofield Monday. Mr. Wilke was killed in Thailand.
Miss Debbie Pribbernow, Eau Claire, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Leon Jost.
Mrs. Carl Romanik of Milwaukee spent Saturday and Sunday at the Len Nickel home.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Kaufman were Saturday evening supper guests at the Ray Mundt
home, Chili.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schwantes, Anchorage, Alaska, visited Thursday evening at the
Len Nickel home.
Mrs. George Cook and Mrs. Clarence Ravy visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. William
Regall at Wausaukee.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kaufman and Mr. and Mrs. Don Kaufman were Sunday evening
supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Luchterhand at Marshfield.
Miss Ann Mellenthin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mellenthin of Beaver Dam,
who is employed as lab technician at the Marshfield Clinic, is staying at the
George Cook home.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Olson and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Bartlett Olson and family
left Saturday for their respective homes, after spending their vacations with
their mother, Mrs. Esther Olson.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Rogge and family of L'Anse, Mich., visited last Monday at
Pastor Sutherland's home.
Pastor and Mr. Robert Sutherland and family attended the Tenpas-Boejink reunion
at Lake Wazeecha, near Wis. Rapids, on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Schneider and Mrs. Ed Domer of Oshkosh visited Mr. Al and Roy
Justman at St. Jsoeph's Hospital on Saturday, and spent the weekend visiting
relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Don Schneider returned to their home Sunday, but
Mrs. Domer is staying with her sister, Mrs. Roy Justman.
Cal Cook, Emil Radeztsky and Jeffrey Cook spent the weekend at Manitowish
Waters. Mrs. Radeztsky and children stayed with her mother, Mrs. Cal Cook.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bloom and family left Thursday evening and are camping near Eau
Claire.
