The hay shed roof on the Otto Rannow farm was lifted from the building during
the storm Thursday morning (8 Aug 1968). Mr. and Mrs. Rannow, who were watching
the storm from an upstairs window in the house, thought the silo roof was
destroyed. Upon inspection, they found that the shed roof was blown off and
parts of it had landed on top of the silo, and the remainder lay on the ground.
