Heath, Minnie (16 JUN 1877 – 2 AUG 1968)

Mrs. Minnie Heath, 91, of Longmont, Colo., died August 2, 1968 at Longmont Community Hospital, after a long illness.

Funeral services were held August 6 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Billie Martin officiating. Interment was made in Mountain View Cemetery. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Longmont.

The former Minnie Lundahl was born in Milwaukee June 16, 1877, and later moved with her parents to rural Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), where she received her education. She married Frank W. Heath in 1903 and resided in Spencer until 1923, when they moved to Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1944, and two brothers and a sister, George, Henry, and Elizabeth Lundahl. A foster son, Alfred, USN, was killed in action Dec. 7, 1941, at Pearl Harbor.

Survivors include four sisters, Ann, Dora and Mary Lundahl of Longmont, Calif., and Bertha Geiger of Milwaukee, and numerous nieces and nephews. Area relatives are Mrs. Ethel Morrow and Mrs. Helen Lukas of Abbotsford.
