Lord, Diane Marie (17 AUG 1968)
Marriage vows were repeated by Miss Diane Marie Lord and James C. Lenz, both of
Marshfield, Saturday, Aug. 17, 1968, at 11 o'clock at Sacred Heart Catholic
Church at Marshfield, with the Rev. Peter J. Leketas officiating.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Florence Lenz of Colby and Lavern Lenz of
Abbotsford. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Adeline Lord of Marshfield and Linus
Lord of route 5, Marshfield.
The bride appeared in a nylon and lace over taffeta full-length gown and wore an
elbow length veil held by a cluster of petals. She carried a bouquet of pink
sweetheart roses and white daisies.
The honor attendants were Miss Julie Lord of Marshfield and Ardell Borchardt of
Edgar, Miss Arlene Mansavage of Custer, Miss Beverly Schultz of Watertown and
Miss Dixie Buddinger of Abbotsford. Dennis Hoff of Stevens Point, David Miller
of Watertown and Kenneth Leick of Manitowoc were the groomsmen, and Chester
Mansavage of Custer and Gary Anderson, La Crosse, were the ushers.
Festivities of the wedding day included a reception following the ceremony at
Cameron Club, Marshfield, and dinner at 4:30 at Msgr. Toeller Hall at the Sacred
Heart Parochial School, and a wedding dance in the evening at Fahey's Hall at
Rozellville.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Lenz left on a honeymoon trip to southern Wisconsin and are
now at home at 513 E. Third St., Marshfield.
Mr. Lenz, who attended Colby High School, is a Weyerhaeuser Co. employee.
His bride, a 1966 graduate of Columbus High School, Marshfield, was employed at
Hans & Fritz Restaurant.
