Thalacker, Pvt. James D. (Service Notes - 1974)
Pvt. James D. Thalacker, 18, son of Lavern Thalacker of Rt. 1 Owen, has
completed eight weeks of basic training at the Army Training Center, Armor Ft.
Knox, Ky. He received instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading,
combat tactics, military courtesy, military justice, first aid, and army history
and tradition.
