Christmas Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Kauffman were their daughters and
sons-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ashton of Coloma, Mi., and Mr. and Mrs. Harris
W. Campbell of Nyack, N.Y., and Mr Kauffman’s mother, Mrs. Emma Kauffman of
Neillsville. The Campbells remained to spend the new Year’s holiday with her
parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Harland Pigott and children, Doug and Theresa Beaver, were
Christmas Day guests of Mrs. Pigott’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fensome of
Rt. 2 Spencer. Saturday evening, Doug was honored with a surprise party on the
occasion of his 16th birthday. Guests included a number of his classmates and
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Karl and son, Wally and a friend of Neillsville.
Mr. and mrs. Robert Hillert of Rockford, Il., spent last weekend with his
mother, Mrs. Arthur Hillert.
Mr. and Mrs. William Genteman spent the week preceding Christmas with their son
and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Genteman, Jr., in Milwaukee. They were
holiday guests of their daughters and families, the William Lucas’s of Willard
on Christmas Eve and the David Berlicks and Francis Langrecks of Christmas Day.
Sunday evening dinner guests at the Harold Montag home for a gathering in
observance of Mrs. Montags birthday were Mr. and Mrs. Sig Wickman of Marshfield
and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fenske, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Montag, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer
Steffen, Mrs. Anna Montag and Mr. and Mrs. Elgene Montag.
Mr. and Mrs. Harris Campbell of Nyack, N.Y., were Sunday evening callers at the
Harland Pigott home, where New Year’s Day guests were expected to be the Rev.
and Mrs. Frank Mutchler and family of Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fensome of
Rt. 2 Spencer.
Mr. and Mrs. James Lee and family of Deerfield spent last weekend with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lee. Their daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs.
Larry Dix, Jr., and children, were Christmas Eve guests at the Lee home.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mundt spent Christmas Day in Pittsville with his sister and
brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Portz.
Mr. and Mrs. William Genteman, together with Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Mills and Lee
Mills of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Mills of Loyal, were Sunday evening
guests of Mrs. Alfred Foemmel and son Roger, in Neillsville. A phone
conversation with a brother, Oren Mills, in North Carolina, completed the family
gathering.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jennings spent Christmas Day with their son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Jennings and family in Marshfield.
