Sternitzky, Steve (Jr. Kiwanian - 1974)
Steve Sternitzky, president of the Neillsville High School chapter of the
National Honor Society, was installed Monday evening by Jerry Opelt as the
Neillsville Kiwanis Club’s January Junior Kiwanian. Junior Kiwanians are chosen
on the basis of their scholastic, citizenship, leadership and athletic
abilities.
Ranking in the upper 15 percent of his class academically, and a member of the
National Honor Society for three years, Steve has also been a member of the
annual staff for two years. This year, he holds the post of photographer. He has
participated in forensics for two years, football for three years, golf for four
years, and serves as statistician for the basketball team. He was a member of
the Latin Club for three years and took part in the junior and senior class
plays. Presently, Steve is business manager of the “Warrior Post” and treasurer
of the senior class.
