Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Greeler, Mr. and Mrs. Erland Greeler and family and Mrs.
Hattie Forman spent last Monday afternoon with the Alvin Lavene family and had
supper with them.
Mrs. Marian Sinclair and a friend of Santa Ana, Ca, were visitors recently at
the Almon Vandeberg home, where Mrs. Irma Kuester of Christie was a Thursday
visitor.
The WRC was to meet Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Herman Schultz. Installation of
officers was scheduled, with a potluck lunch to follow.
Out-of-town guests at the home of Mrs. Tom Yndogliato recently included her
sons, Dr. Charles Jonkel of Ottawa, Ontario, and George M. Jonkel of Laurel,
Md.; grandchildren, Susan and Phillip Jonkel, also of Laurel, and Rhonda Gloden
and daughter, Michelle, of Madison; sister-in-law, Mrs. Mabel Jonkel of Baraboo;
niece and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gavin Upton and son, Dan, of Madison; nephews,
Leonard Sollberger of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Don Erpenbach of Granton; and
Miss Florence Garbush of Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Sherman of Eau Claire.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lavene and sons, Gary and Ricky, Mrs. Hattie Forman and Mr.
and Mrs. Roger Bender and family were dinner and supper guests at the home of
Mrs. Agnes Bender near Loyal on New Year’s Day.
Mr. and Mrs. Thad Zajac visited at the home of his mother, Mrs. Sophia Zajac of
Marion, and also visited with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Hennion of South bend, In., who were visiting there as well.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Bender and family and Mrs. Agnes Bender of rural Loyal and
Mrs. Hattie Forman visited and were supper guests of Mrs. Roger Bender’s
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lavene and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Tyler and family of Granton spent Sunday afternoon with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Greeler.
Mr. and Mrs. Thad Zajac planned to drive to Black River Falls Tuesday evening to
attend installation of officers of Bethel No. 70, International Order of Job’s
Daughters. Their daughter, Mrs. Cheri Boock, is the guardian of that Bethel. The
Boock’s daughters, Christi and Linda Kay, were to serve as flag bearer and Bible
carrier, respectively.
