Kelsh, Dara (? - December 1973)

The grim reaper again entered our midst by taking the life of Mrs. Dara Kelsh, a former resident, who was making her home in the Augusta Nursing home.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and of Rebekah Lodge, No. 222. The Charter of both orders was draped for 30 days and condolences were sent to the family. Mrs. Kelsh has been a member of the Rebekah Lodge for over 50 years.

She is survived by her four children: A son, Carroll (Bud) of Fargo, N.D.; and three daughters, Betty of Chateau, Mont., Marjorie of Connecticut, and Ruth of Augusta; and by a sister, Elva of Iowa and a brother, Will of Florida.

She was a teacher in the public schools of Jackson County for several years and later taught in the public school system in Montana.

Funeral services were held from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Augusta December 22, at 2 p.m.
