Matson, Albert (11 JUN 1907 – 1 SEP 1968)

Albert Matson, 61, Unity, died of a heart attack early Sunday morning, Sept. 1, 1968, at his home in the town of Unity (Clark Co., Wis.).

The Rev. Robert Sutherland officiated at the services Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity. Burial was made in the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Matson was born in the town of Unity June 11, 1907, and received his education in Unity schools. He farmed at the place where he was born his entire life.

His marriage to Beatrice Huber took place May 30, 1929. She died in October 1934. On Jan. 21, 1941, he married Audrey Huber, who died Aug. 10, 1960.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity.

Three daughters and one son survive. They are Mrs. Stanley (Norma) Zadlo, Minneapolis, Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Degenhardt of Marshfield, Mrs. Kenneth (Sharon) Laube of Colby, and Harvey Matson, Unity.

Ten Grandchildren also survived, and there are two sisters, Mrs. Emma Ewald of Detroit and Mrs. Emil (Alpho) Johnson of Unity and one brother, Ed Matson of Detroit.
