County Historical Society buys Colby railroad depot.

At the regular meeting of the Clark County Historical Society held Thursday evening, it was revealed that the Soo Line Railroad has accepted the bid for the sale of the Colby depot for the purpose of a museum for the historical society.

The Soo Line will be notified that a committee was appointed to secure a location of the building, which will have to be moved before the end of the year.

The committee consists of Mrs. Bernadette Gabriel, Mrs. H. Bender and J. C. Pribnow.

The general idea is to keep it within a reasonable distance from the railroad tracks but still not too far as to lose the association with the railroad tracks.
