The farm in the Gorman area in the Town of Hendren known as the Lesar Sister’s farm has been sold to Mr. and Mrs. James Fozio of Sussex.

About 10 people helped Mrs. Theresa Matkovich celebrate her 85th birthday at her home last week. The day was spent socially, with a luncheon and games.

Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Ruzic, Sr., of Milwaukee, were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Ruzic, Jr. and family.

Frank Koschak and daughter, Linda, returned Saturday from North Miami, Fla., where they spent some time with relatives and friends.

New Year’s Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock were Mr. and Mrs. Brian Glass, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Mauritz and Jason of Neillsville.

Saturday night Mr. and Mrs. William Bayuk visited Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gannon and family of Oconto visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Al Hemersbach.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Plautz and Daniel of Hales Corners spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Steve Plautz and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Schmidt spent Wednesday last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Jordon.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wolk of Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Vic Halbrader, spent a night recently with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tolaney, Jr., and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Volk and family of Milwaukee spent some time recently with Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Volk and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pekol and family.

Miss Diane Klapatauskas has returned to St. Francis after visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Klapatauskas.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Trost spent the holiday season in Chicago, Il.
