Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ven Rooy, Colby, announce the engagement of their daughter,
Karen Jean, to John Geiger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Geiger, Dorchester. Miss
Ven Rooy graduated from the Colby High School in 1968 and is now a student at
the Accredited School of Beauty Culture at Eau Claire. Her fiancé is also a
Colby High School graduate, and he is serving with the U.S. Army, stationed at
Fort Campbell, Ky.
