The Unity Circle of the Women's Society of Christian Service will meet Thursday evening, Oct. 3, at the home of Mrs. Gordon Lynn Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Loren Johnson of St. Louis Park, Minn. spent the weekend at the Forrest Johnson and Russel Meyer homes.

Mrs. Esther Olson returned home last Thursday after visiting a few few days at the William Dickie and Marvin Steinke home in Wis. Rapids.

Pastor Robert Sutherland left Sunday afternoon for Madison, where he will attend a pastor's retreat. He will return home Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Johnson entertained friends and neighbors on Friday in honor of their daughter, Tammy, on her 11th birthday.

Mrs. Carol Kocier left Friday for Whitehouse, Ohio, where she plans to stay for a while, after visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Heber. Her husband, Allan Kocier, who is serving in the Navy, left Monday, Sept. 30, for overseas duty.

Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Justman spent the weekend at the Alan Justman home in Rockford, Ill., where they were getting acquainted with their new granddaughter.

Forrest Johnson and Harry Mandel spent Monday in Minneapolis on business.

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hebert and Sister Betty were Sunday afternoon visitors and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hebert, Spencer.

Mr. and Mrs. B.W. Mabbott were Wednesday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Capes, Marshfield, in honor of Everett's birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. William Schultz and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wiedenhoeft spent Sunday at their cabin at Loretta.

Mrs. Albert Wiedenhoeft spent the weekend at Madison, where she visited her granddaughter, Anita.

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Ewert of Marshfield were Sunday evening callers at the Francis Hebert home.

William and Frank Siegrist and Mrs. Dora Ewert returned home Friday evening frofm Wauwatosa, where they visited at the Roderick Ewert home, and with other relatives. Mrs. Dora Ewert attended the sixth annual Lutheran Church Women's convention of the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Synod, held at St. Matthew's Lutehran Church in Wauwatosa.

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis cook spent the weekend at the Calvin Cook home after vacationing in Canada. On their return home to St. Paul, they were accompanied by their son, Christopher, who had been staying with his grandparents.

Mrs. Helen Luce of Junction City spent the weekend at the Clifford Binning home.

Mr. and Mrs. Len Nickels spent Thursday in Chippewa Falls, where they helped Mrs. Nickel's sister, Mrs. Elmer Nelson, celebrate her birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Carlson, Mrs. Leo Hebert and Mr. and Mrs. Al Justman attended the 75th anniversary service at the Nazareth Lutheran Church at Withee on Sunday afternoon.
