Maninen, Carl A. (20 December 1942 - 12 June 2015)
Carl A. Maninen, 73, of Greenwood passed away June 12, 2015, at Clark County
Rehabilitation & Living Center in Owen. Carl was born Dec. 20, 1942, to the late
Toivo and Bertha (Olson) Maninen. He was a 1960 graduate of Owen-Withee High
School
Carl was a man with many talents. He worked as a farmer, and he drove milk
truck. He also worked for the Dorchester Co-op, Walmart, and Witmers and was a
handyman in repairing things. In his later years of life, he enjoyed driving the
Mennonites to places and taking their children to school.
Carl is survived by his two nieces, Annette (Randy) Brossow of Medford and Sandy
(Greg) Sebold of Dorchester; four great-nieces; one great-nephew; one
great-great niece; four great-great-nephews; and many cousins. Carl will be
missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Emory Maninen (2003); one
great-great-niece; and aunts and uncles.
A Memorial will be held at the Longwood Park Aug. 29, 2015, from 1 p.m. to 5
