Kilty, Sandra J. (28 SEP 1968)
Miss Sandra J. Kilty and John F. Zassenhaus were united in marriage Saturday,
Sept. 28, 1968, at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, with Father
Pinion officiating.
Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kilty, Unity, and Mr. and
Mrs. William Zassenhaus, Colby.
The bride appeared in a white floor length satin empire dress, with long sleeves
and a high collar. The veil was shoulder length and had a single white rose at
the crown. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations.
For her attendants she chose Judy Lori Nikolai of Marshfield, Elaine Langrehrs,
Medford, and Carol Paschke of Abbotsford.
They were attired in floor length aqua dresses of lace over taffeta with a floor
length aqua taffeta and chiffon train.
Gary Schaffer was the best man and Glen Weiler, Lyle Krueger and Gus Paschke
were groomsmen.
Festivities of the wedding day included a reception at Colby's Bar, Unity,
supper at St. Mary's Church Hall, and a dance at Colby's Bar, Unity.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Zassenhaus will be making their home at 212 South Fourth
St., Abbotsford. The groom is employed at Wilderness Campers, Unity, and the
bride is a former cashier at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfeld.
