The descendants of Thomas and Elizabeth Polnaszek of Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis. gathered together on June 20, 2015 at a family reunion at Mirror Lake State Park near Wis. Dells. Although they and their children are now deceased, about 90 of their grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren had a BBQ cookout and potluck to celebrate the memoires of Tom, Elizabeth and their children, Edward, George, Richard, William and Geraldine.
Frances Myhre (Gainesville, FL), wife of Richard, and Rose Ann Polnaszek (Union Grove), wife of William, were there to lead the celebration, along with their families, nieces and nephews and their families. Edward and Charlotte's children who attended were Charles and Jennifer Polnaszek family (Texas), Carol and Bill Stasila family (Thorp), Melanie and Joe Galarowicz family (Appleton), and Perry and Andrea Polnaszek family (Chippewa Falls); George and Maxine's children who attended were Kathy and Dennis Layden family (Green Bay), Jeff Polnaszek, JoAnn and Dennis Johanski (West Bend), Lisa & Tom McCaffrey family (El Granada, CA), Lori and Merriette Ireland family )Golden, CO), and Theresa Polnaszek (Ohio). Richard and Fran's children who attended were Jim and Trish Polnaszek family (Andover, MN), Tom and Kathy Polnaszek family (Oshkosh), Jane Heit family (Eau Claire), Jenny Gomez family (Florida), Nancy and Russ Rothamer family (Mosinee/Flagstaff, AZ). William and Rose Ann's children who attended were Greg and Nancy Polnaszek (Albion, MI), Beth and Ebi Bosse (La Crosse), Janet and Roy Balder family (Holmen, WI), and Lois Loomis family (Union Grove). Especially remembered were those cousins who passed before their time: Daniel Dobrzynski, Duane Dobrzynski, Steven Polnaszek, David Polnaszek, Eric Polnaszek and Ryan Galarowicz.
