Zasacki, Rose (13 APR 1906 – 16 OCT 1968)
Rose Zasacki, 62, Colby, died early Wednesday morning, Oct. 16, 1968, at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Services were held Saturday, Oct. 19, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colby,
and the Rev. John D. Pinion officiated. Burial was made in Wuerzburg Cemetery,
town of Johnson, and the body laid in state at Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby.
Mrs. Zasacki (Babulski) was born in Sobieski April 13, 1906. She was married
July 29, 1925, to Walter Zasacki, at Lublin. The couple lived in Chicago from
the time of their marriage until 1948, when they moved to Marshfield, where they
lived for the next two years. They then moved to Athens, where Mr. Zasacki died
in 1955. After his death she went back to Chicago, where she worked in an
electrical parts factory until 1965, when she came to Colby to live.
Survivors include two children, Mrs. Edward Mueller of Colby and Leon Zasacki of
Chicago. Surviving brothers and sisters are Mrs. Mike Florkowski, Unity, Mrs.
Nick Tyznik of Colby, Mrs. Frank Fillo of Thorp, Walter Babulski of Tujunga,
Calif., Ray Babulski of Minneapolis,, and Edward Babulski of Appleton.
She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
