Ingersoll, Donald J. (22 APR 1892 – 21 OCT 1968)
Donald J. Ingersoll, 76, of Abbotsford, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon, Oct.
21, 1968, at Havenet Nursing Home, Owen, where he was a resident about the past
month.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Polnaszek
Funeral Home, Abbotsford. The Rev. Lillian Jensen of the Christian Assembly of
God conducted the services, after which interment was made in the Abbotsford
Cemetery.
Mr. Ingersoll was born April 22, 1892, at Abbotsford, and was educated in area
schools. His marriage to Anna Waldhart, who survives him, took place at
Minneapolis June 19, 1913. The first three years of their marriage were spent in
Minneapolis and Stetsonville, after which they made their home in Abbotsford.
Two daughters also survive him, Mrs. William (Hazel) Koslo, Brookfield, Ill.,
and Mrs. Robert (Helen) Bogaard, Abbotsford. There are four grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving him are three brothers, Kenneth Ingersoll of Abbotsford, Robin
Ingersoll of Marshfield, and Carroll Ingersoll of Zion, Ill., and one sister,
Mrs. Stanley (Ruth) Smith of Portland, Ore.
His parents and one brother preceded him in death.
