Richard L. Schattl of Dorchester announce the engagement of his daughter,
Shirley Ann, to Roy William Devereaux, son of Mrs. Ida Devereaux and the late
Mr. William Devereaux of Streeter, N.D. Miss Schattl graduated from Marathon
County Technical Institute with a clerk-typist degree and is a stenographer,
data clerk employed by the Wis. Valley Improvement Company of Wausau. Her fiancé
is employed by North Central Heating Company, Inc. of Wausau, and is presently
attending night school at North Central Technical Institute of Wausau. Wedding
plans are indefinite.
