Joseph Govek and Joseph Yeray, both of Sheboygan, attended the wedding last
Saturday in Loyal of Ann Marie Shupe and William Govek. The newly married Mr.
and Mrs. William Govek honeymooned last week at Pensacola, Fla.
A card party of 10 tables was held at the parish center in Willard Sunday night.
The door prize was awarded to George Klovas; the raffle prize to John F.
Trunkel; a prize also was awarded at each table. Arthur Petkovsek donated all
the prizes and food for the occasion. A luncheon followed.
Mrs. Robert Debevec and Mrs. Frank Debevec were in Eau Claire last Sunday and
visited relatives there.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jordon and Sheila of Granton, and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Nauertz
and Allen of Neillsville, were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bayuk and
family.
Mr. and Mrs. Nick Klapatauskas and family were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs.
Julius Klapatauskas and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Ken Severson and family of Stratford visited last Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Cyril Rakovec and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Albright of Wausau spent last Sunday afternoon with Mr. and
Mrs. Steve Plautz and Robert, Floyd Plautz, Cindy Sharon, Karen and Paul also
were there Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Eleanor Bayuk, Mrs. Mary Djubenski and Mrs. Alice Plautz visited last
Thursday night with Mrs. Catherine Plautz.
Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Jordon visited Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock last Thursday
night.
Friday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Molnar of Owen visited John and Anne Champa.
Mr. and Mrs. John Trunkel, Jr., were in McHenry, Il., and other cities around
there, where they visited with friends last week.
Edward Pekol, Sr., of Chicago, Il., spent the weekend here with his family.
Mrs. Bessie De Long of Bell, Ca., has returned home following a visit with Mr.
and Mrs. John Verschay.
