Mrs. Norman Lukas was dismissed from St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Friday.

Mrs. Ted Hoeft has been re-admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Janda were guests at the John Larsen home, Stevens Point, Sunday, when the birthdays of Mr. Janda and his grandson, Peter Larsen, were celebrated.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Izydorek of Thorp visited at the Dick Polnaszek home Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Stella Brady and daughter, Mrs. Beulah Hurley, attended the funeral of Mrs. Brady's brother-in-law, Frank Kline, 84, at the Myhre Funeral Home in Loyal Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. Friends from Abbotsford who attended were the Misses Jessie and Blanche Merrill and Mrs. Fred Bobbe.

Mrs. Bernard Klinkhammer spent the week before last in Minneapolis at the homes of two daughters and their families: the Richard Grandbois and Keith Zimmerman families. On Friday, Mrs. Grandbois and three children brought her home and stayed for the weekend. Miss Vicki Gierl, who attends Stout State University at Menomonie, also was home for the weekend, as was Paul Klinkhammer, who attend the university at Madison. Mr. and Mrs. Hank Wilbert and three sons of Goodland, Minn. were at the Klinkhammer home for that same weekend. Mr. and Mrs. David Lindberg and family were guests there on Sunday.

Mrs. Clarence Rankl and Mrs. Erna Albrecht accompanied Pastor Joseph H. Jeide to Webster Grove, Mo., and attended a conference held at Eden Theological seminary from Nov. 1 to 4.

Louis "Dutch" Steiner of Colby, was admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, a week ago Sunday, as a medical patient. He is reported as making improvement and may be home sometime this week.

Mrs. Sara Naples of Ft. Atkinson spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Ella Waldhart.

Miss Barbara Spence of Milwaukee came Monday morning and will be here for a few days with her mother, Mrs. Henry Spence, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Mrs. Spence underwent surgery there Monday.

Harold Reeves was admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Monday, and was scheduled for surgery Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thuring of Clintonville called at the home of Mrs. Ruth Stowe, Sunday evening.

Mrs. John Freisinger of La Crosse came Sunday afternoon and was an overnight guest at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weix. On Monday morning they attended the funeral of their aunt, Mrs. Anton Baldeschwiler, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thorp.

Gary Reyzer was dismissed from ST. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Friday after receiving care there since March 17, when he was severely injured in a car accident. He will be going for rehabilitation in the near future and is presently with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Reyzer, rural Curtiss.

Mrs. Ruth Stowe and Melvin visited Mr. and Mrs. David Thuring at Greenwood one day last week.

Mrs. Bertha Pawlak, Mrs. Rose Pawlak, and Mrs. Nick Grajkowski of Thorp, and Mrs. Walter Lew of Withee visited Mrs. Stella Gronek Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Vern Steffen had as their guests on Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Martin De Noble of De Pere and Mr. and Mrs. Chester de Noble of Loon Lake, Shawano. Martin De Noble is an uncle of Mrs. Steffen and Chester De Noble.

Mrs. Harold Trimner was dismissed from Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley, Sunday. She was a surgical patient there for two weeks.

Mrs. Ray Huss and Kim, Eau Claire, came Saturday to spend the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Weideman. Kim is staying for the week. On Sunday, Kim's third birthday anniversary was celebrated. Geusts for the afternoon and supper were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Huss, rural Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown and family, Athens, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mueller, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Ralph Woik and family, rural Owen.

Mrs. Alphonse Herrmann returned Thursday from a week's vacation trip. She left the previous Friday and visited at the homes of Dr. and Mrs. F.J. Bucheger at Fredonia and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Plautz at Thiensville.

David Herrmann of Beloit was expected Wednesday night to be here until Sunday. He will be accompanied by a friend.

Mr. and Mrs. Barry Fetting and family have moved to the Robert Bogaard house on W. Spruce St., recently vacated by the Ed Kramer family. Mr. Fetting is employed at ABCO, Inc.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Merrill of Oshkosh spent Saturday and Sunday with his cousins, the Misses Blanche and Jessie Merrill.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Waldhart sold their house on N. Fifth St. to Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Stelzel of rural Dorchester, who sold their farm and plan to move here in the near future. The Waldharts will be moving over the weekend to their home on West Spruce St., which they are remodeling.
