Mr. and Mrs. Nyole Creed have returned from a recent eight day tour of Kentucky, Tennessee, and other southern states, which included a stay at Gatlinburg, Tenn., and a tour of the Smokie.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Francen entertained Sunday at dinner. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Hilson of Spencer, Mrs. Matilda Burnett, Mrs. Sue Neitzel and Mrs. Margaret Fitchett of Milwaukee, Karl Willecke, Mrs. Ella Stark and Mrs. Gusta Miller. Sunday afternoon callers were Mrs. Ellen Miller and her mother, Mrs. Mertens of Withee.

Mr. and Mrs. Buford Wilding of Milwaukee spent Saturday at the Robert Leisinger home. Mr. and Mrs. Leisinger spent Sunday at Tripoli.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wiedenhoeft and Mrs. Albert Wiedenhoeft were Sunday dinner guests of Miss Evelyn Wicker of Colby.

Pastor and Mrs. Robert Sutherland attended the wedding of George Dican and Jean Bartig on Saturday at Stevens Point.

Mrs. Susan Neitzel and Mrs. Margaret Fitchett returned to their home in Milwaukee Sunday, after visiting at the home of their sister, Mrs. Matilda Burnett.

On Wednesday evening of last week Nyole Creed attended a scouting camp promotion dinner meeting at the Motor Hotel at Wausau. Mrs. Creed visited at the George Stauner home.

Mrs. Esther Olson spent from Tuesday until Saturday visiting at the Dickie and Steinke home in Wis. Rapids.

Mr. and Mrs. Loren Johnson of St. Louis Park, Minn. spent the weekend at the Forrest Johnson home at Unity and the Russell Meyer home at Colby.

Mrs. Minnie Cook and Miss Ann Yahr entertained at dinner Friday evening at the Medo-Fram Restaurant: Mr. and Mrs. B.W. Mabbott, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Domer, and Maynard Yahr.

Edward Melander is a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital, where he is undergoing medical tests.

Mrs. George Cook and Mrs. Clarence Ravy were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mellenthin at Portage.

On Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Nyole Creed drove to Rhinelander, where Mrs. Creed attended a postmasters' seminar. Mr. Creed spent the day at the William Creed home.

Miss Ruth Ewert of Chippewa Falls spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Dora Ewert.

Miss Merry Miller of Minneapolis spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Miller Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Carlson, Mrs. Esther Olson and Mr. and Mrs. Ansel Messer and daughter, Barbara, were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Justman in honor of Mr. Justman's birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Korntved spent from Thursday until Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Aderhold at Chetek.

Miss Louellyn Loughead of Cedar rapids, Ia., spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Loughead.

Mrs. Gust Carlson returned home Tuesday after visiting relatives in Appleton, Oak Creek and Milwaukee.

Pastor and Mrs. Ed Erickson and family of Marshfield were Sunday dinner guests at the Ted Domer home.

Mrs. Lois Carlson entertained at her home at dinner Sunday in honor of the birthdays of her daughter, Karen, and Carla Carlson, daughter o rm. And Mrs. Marvin Carlson, Marshfield. Guests included George Carlson of West Allis, Miss Lynn Davis of Eagle River, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Carlson and family, Marshfield, Danny Schwantes of Spencer, and Mr. and Mrs. Gust Carlson.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lynn and Mis Mabel Lynn of Wis. Rapids were Sunday afternoon callers at the home of Miss Anne Yahr.

Mr. and Mrs. John Bruecker and Lynette, Jerry Salter and Jerry Ottski of Black Creek spent the weekend at the Stewart Salter home, Sunday. They all attended the baptismal rites of Ronald Gene, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Morrow, Colby, and were dinner guests at the Morrow home.

Mrs. Madge Bennett returned home Sunday after sending a week and a half at the Ralph Bennett home in Radisson.
