Seidel, Erna (24 AUG 1904 – 4 NOV 1968)
Erna Seidel, 64, died Monday evening, Nov. 4, 1968, at her home.
Services will be held Thursday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church,
Dorchester, with the Rev. Deral Schuh officiating, and burial will be made in
Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
The former Erna Wuest was born at Medford Aug. 24, 1904, and married Frank
Seidel April 21, 1925 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester. The couple
lived in Dorchester two years following their marriage, and then moved to Colby,
where they lived for 13 years. In 1938 they returned to Dorchester, where they
operated Seidel Brothers Tavern and Garage at Dorchester Corners. For the past
five years they have lived in the village of Dorchester.
Mrs. Seidel was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester. She was also
a member of the church's Ladies Altar Society and the National Society of
Catholic Foresters.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Jerome Bach of Medford and
Mrs. Robert Cypher of Menomonee Falls; three sons, Gordon of Milwaukee, Nyle of
Menomonee falls and Donald of Dorchester; 13 grandchildren and one brother,
Norbert Wuest of Fond du Lac.
