Justman, Charles, (4 MAR 1915 – OCT 1968)
Funeral services for Charles Justman, 52, a former Unity resident, were held
Monday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby.
Burial was made in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Unity, with Pastor Robert
Sutherland officiating.
Pallbearers were Arnold Edblom, Arlyn Edblom, Merlin Justman, Oscar Carlson,
Ansel Messer and William Tomashek.
Rev. Sutherland sang "Jesus Savior, Pilot Me" and "Children of the Heavenly
Father," accompanied by Miss Barbara Messer.
Mrs. Justman died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Vera Guillerstein, in Fargo,
N.D., where he had resided for the past eight years.
Mr. Justman was born in Jim Falls, Wis., on March 4, 1915, and after the death
of his parents, came to make his home with Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Justman in Unity.
He received his education there. After his marriage he moved to Oshkosh.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Judy Ristow, Oshkosh; two sons, John and
James, both of Oshkosh; a half-sister, Mrs. Hilbert (Matilda) Pagel; two
sisters, Mrs. Vera Guillerstein, Fargo, N.D., and Mrs. Myrtle Tomashek, Eau
Claire, and one brother, Gerald of Ridgeland, Wis.
