Olson, Barbara L. (4 November 1969 - 27 August 2015)

Barbara L. Olson, 45 of Marshfield passed away on Thursday morning, August 27, 2015 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30am Monday, August 31, 2015 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Eric Berns officiating. Visitations will be from 4-7pm Sunday at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield and again on Monday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until service time.

Barbara was born on November 4, 1969 in Neillsville to Thomas and Janice (Swanson) Wepfer and raised in Loyal. She was a 1988 graduate of Loyal High School, received a bachelor's degree from UW Stout in 1993 and then UW Eau Claire as a registered nurse in 2001.

She was employed at St. Joseph's Hospital and the Marshfield Clinic as a registered nurse and most recently as a sales representative for Lilly Pharmaceuticals.

Barb loved spending time with her family and friends. She always enjoyed going up north to Crystal Lake in Sayner for the annual family get together.

Barb took a personal interest in gardening and sharing her passion for health and fitness with others. Everyone always expressed how much they loved Barb and how kind she was to others. There was something special about her that drew people in and made them feel good to be around her.

She was united in Marriage to Michael F. Olson on May 29, 1992 in Loyal.

Barb is survived by her parents of Loyal, husband Mike, three children Sadie, Lucas and Tommy Olson all of Marshfield; four siblings, Scott (Valerie) Wepfer of Birmingham, AL, David (Amy) Wepfer of Middleton, WI, Julie (John) Reed of Santa Barbara, CA and Jill (Chris) Maertz of Fox Point, WI.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
